NELLIE LIPSEY
Nellie Lipsey, 81, of Route 2 Mulkeytown, died at 11:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 1977, in Herrin Hospital. Mrs, Lipsey was a member of the Church of Christ at Minor. She was born March 23, 1896, near Sesser to Chamberlin and Lottie Webster Brown. She was married to Roscoe Lipsey. He died in 1942. A son, Edgar, and a daughter. Helen Yung, also preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Dale Lipsey of Kermit, Tex. and William Lipsey of Olive Branch; two daughters, Maxine Stanley of Route 2, Mulkeytown and Melva Kohen of Onarga; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m, Thursday in the Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler. Burial will be in the Mulkeytown Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
