ORVAL BROWN
Orval "Cowboy" Brown. 63, of 702 Sylvia Ave., Christopher, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the home of his niece, Virginia Struckle, Valier. Mr. Brown had been ill for some time. He was born Sept. 13, 1904, in Franklin County to Chamberlin and Lottie Webster Brown. A retired coal miner, he last worked at Orient No. 9 mine. He was a lifetime resident of Franklin County. His wife, the former Pauline Berta, died Aug. 13,1949. Survivors are a sister, Nellie Lipsey, Zeigler: and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Struckle, Valier. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Russell Funeral Home, Christopher. The Rev. Harl Ray Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Harrison
