Marcia Sue Brosh Lewis, 70, of League City, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012. She was born on October 6, 1941, in Covington, Kentucky, to Charles Brosh and Ruth Proctor Brosh. Marcia was raised in Newport, Arkansas, and attended William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri. She moved to Houston in 1969 and raised her family. Marcia began her career in nursing in the Houston and Baytown areas and finished her career with Dr. Edward Leahey. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, scrapbooking, collecting dolls and as an accomplished piano player, Marcia enjoyed music of all kinds. Her true passion, however, was being with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by death by her parents and her husband, Jim Lewis; Marcia is survived by sons, Dana Dalbey and wife, Debi, of Dayton, Scott Dalbey of Leander, Texas, and Brad Dalbey and wife, Candace, of Flower Mound, Texas; daughter, Nancy Wheeler and husband, Coy, of League City; seven grandchildren, Holly Dalbey, Carly Dalbey, Tyler Dalbey, Brooke Dalbey, Toby Wheeler, Kate Dalbey and Natalie Dalbey; brothers, Patric Brosh and wife, Terrye, Kevin Brosh and wife, Susan, and Shane Brosh and wife, Lee Ann; and other friends and family members who will miss her. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

The family had received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Marcia's Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Dana, Scott and Brad Dalbey and Patric, Kevin and Shane Brosh. Honorary pallbearers will be Toby Wheeler and Tyler Dalbey.
