Anton M. Hoffman, 75, of 7200 County Trunk H died at 6:02 p.m. Sunday in the Emergency Room of St Joseph's Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church with the Revs. Gary Hedding and Eric Biedermann officiating. William Allen will be the soloist, and Maldon Plank will be the organist. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Steinbach, Lester Wolf, Ralph Bredl, Don Davis, George Leithen and Melvin Keding.
Visitation will be at Hansen Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Tuesday and then at the church after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
He was born May 31, 1914, in Hewitt, to John and Rose (Heintz) Hoffman. He attended St. Michael's Parochial School, Hewitt.
He married Esther Budtke June 12, 1935, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Auburndale.
He was raised in Hewitt. After his education, he was employed by Weyerhaeuser Co. for several years. He then was employed by Weinbrenner Shoe Factory until his retirement at age 62 in 1977.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife; one brother, Gerhard of Marshfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Tillie) Gauger of Wausau and Mrs. Elsie Huth of Hewitt.
He was predeceased by his parents, one son, Marvin, three sisters and three brothers.
