Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Larry Thompson, 56, who entered eternal rest, Monday, February 3, 2014 at Lafayette Care Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.
Mr. Thompson is survived by two sisters, Florence Pickney (Lawrence) and Grace Thompson (Donald Thomas) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lorena Thompson; maternal grandmother, Gracie Jones; 4 uncles and 2 aunts. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
