Mrs. Mary Stark, 61 years old, wife of John M. Stark, died at her home, 508 Chester Ave., at 5:25 PM Thursday. She was a daughter of the late Dan Hannon for many years identified with the Ottumwa Police Department. Surviving are her husband, one son, D. L. Stark of Ottumwa; three daughters, Miss Mayme Stark and Miss Leone Stark, both of Chicago, and Miss Elizabeth Stark of Ottumwa; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Fitzgerald of Oswego, New York, Mrs. H. B. McLain, of Long Beach, California, and Mrs. F. C. Peters, Mrs. C. E. Mowery and Mrs. A. P. Canny, all of Ottumwa, and a stepdaughter, Joanne Mae Stark of Ottumwa. Her parents and one son preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1:30 PM Sunday, February 5, and at 2:30 from the St. Mary's Catholic Church, conducted by the Very Rev. J. M. Walsh, V. F. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.
