Marie H. Young, 87, formerly of Mohnton, passed away February 25, 2009 at 11:50 am in Spruce Manor Nursing Home a resident for 4 years. She was the wife of the late Nathaniel F. Young who passed away October 31, 1998. Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Katie(Griffith) Remp. Mrs. Young was an office employee for Young's Garage in Reading for 35 years retiring in 1977. She was a member of Seyfert Wesleyan Church were she served as secretary of the Sunday School and as president of the Senior Citizens Class. She is survived by her two sons and her daughter. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren along with 9 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers.
