Bob worked as a press operator retiring from Dana's Parish Corporation in Reading after 26 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Surviving are children: Ronald R., widower of Theresa S. (Brackett) Remp, of Exeter, Sharon L. Remp of Womelsdorf and Lori L. Remp of Shillington. He was also survived by his grandchildren: Gary B. Remp of Douglassville; Ryan M. Remp of West Reading; Renee B. Remp of Sinking Spring; Jessica L. Todt of West Lawn; and Ashley N. Todt of Robesonia; and a brother, Carl Remp of Mohnton.
He was predeceased by siblings: Marvin Remp, Anna Heister, Marie Young and Lillian Fitterling.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Selina Hamilton, officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
