ONIE CARL SHIELDS was born in Jackson County, Kans., Apr. 24, 1891. He received his education at Liberty District School, near Holton. On Feb. 28, 1914 he married Lurline Odessa Faulkender, of Holton. She was born in 1893, in Nemaha County, Kans. They reside at 301 New Jersey Ave., Holton, Kans. They have four children.
