She was born Sept. 28, 1934, at Memphis, Tenn., to Henry and Jessie Blackwood Jett.
Mrs. Hill retired from AT&T where she was a telephone operator. She enjoyed painting and going to yard sales with her friends. She will be remembered for her giving and kind personality and as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three sons, John Hill Sr., Danny Hill (Julie) and Noel Hill, all of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, John Hill Jr. and Mandy Pippinger (Robert), all of Jonesboro, Drew Hill of Mckensie Tenn., and Brianna Hill of Henderson Tenn.; and close friends, Doris Stephens, Joann Percifull, Katherine Lard, Susan Easley, Katherine Lard, Mildred Miller and Patti Burns.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hill; daughter-in-law, Reba Hill; siblings, Kathryn Barnhardt, Eugene Jett, Henry Jett, Alex Jett, John Jett, Jay Lee Jett, Betty Jett and Floyd Jett.
Private services were held with McNabb funeral homes in charge.
