Lance Corporal Langford left a widow, Elizabeth Ann (nee Woolley) and four children: Richard Frederick; Catherine; Terence and John William. His parents were Richard F Langford and his wife Catherine.
Prior to the war, Terence worked in a colliery, however just prior to enlistment he was a crane driver with a building firm.
He enlisted in Manchester 7th September 1914, joining the newly formed 13th (Service) Battalion based in Seaford. The Battalion then moved to Corton Camp, Codford, on Salisbury Plain before sailing to Le Havre, France on the 26/27th September 1915.
Died of wounds "in the field".
