MRS. CORA A. MCCARTY PASSES AWAY IN OHIO
Mrs. Cora A. McCarty, age 83, of Barberton, Ohio, formerly of LaFollette, passed away Thursday morning, March 21, in Barberton where she had made her home for the past 15 years. She was the widow of the late Squire F. McCarty. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Clinton, Ohio.
Survivors are: daughters, Mrs. Beaulah Bartley of Jacksboro, Mrs. Pearl Bartley of Barberton, Ohio, and Mrs. Edith Ashburn of Monroe, Michigan; son, Joseph F. McCarty of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Rogers of Columbus, Ohio; half-sisters, Mrs. Leota Alexander of Euclid, Ohio and Mrs. Viola Ausmus of Clarksburg, Maryland.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 24, at Cross Chapel with Rev. Paul D. Quirk officiating. Burial was in Fincastle Church Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge.
