Clifton Henley passed away on Friday afternoon, 30 May, after an illness of about 6 weeks. A devoted Christian of the Baptist persuasion, Cliff volunteered through several ministries, including Jacob's Well Outreach and the food pantry at Highland Heights United Methodist Church.

Cliff was born and raised in Fayette County, TN, in the Oakland community. His parents were Tom Perry and Lily Henley. He attended public schools, graduated from Fayette Ware High School, and attennded the University of Tennessee at Martin. He married Rebecca 23 June 1972 and they had 2 children. Cliff spent the years of his life after the loss of his wife in Memphis, where his children live. He was a rehabilitation counselor at New Life Baptist Church. They were survived by a son and a daughter, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grand children. He was 62.

The rites was performed by Bro. Tim Hines of Brinkley Heights Baptist Church. Pall bearers were Chris Henley, Josh Henley, Cory Miller, Dennis Palmer, Jeremy Vo and Robert Hines.

Clifton shares a beautiful double stone with his wife, inscribed "married June 23, 1972," beneath linked rings and flowers.
