Mrs. Dorothy Niedringhaus Pierce Bainbridge, age 94, died July 22, 2007 in Duluth, GA. Her husbands, Levi Albert Pierce and James B. Bainbridge, predeceased her.
Mrs. Bainbridge, was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but she lived most of her life in Bessemer, AL, and Vero Beach, FL. At the time of her death, she was living in Duluth, GA with her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tom DiPuma.
She is survived by sons, Donald C. Pierce and wife, Rhunell of Richmond, VA; Robert G. Pierce and wife, Myra of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Susan DiPuma and husband Tom of Duluth, GA; brother, Clark Niedringhaus of Pittsburgh, PA; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren,
She will be remembered for her love of life and family, for her quick wit and for her kind and generous nature. Her remains will be interred in Vero Beach, FL, in the Memorial Garden at the Community Church.
