Clinton Robert LaMar, 60, of Manteca died Friday in a Modesto hospital. A native of Montana, Mr. LaMar lived in Manteca 27 years.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and helped establish St. Anthony's bingo program. Mr. LaMar also was a member and past president of the Young Men's Institute. In 1992, he was named Man of the Year by the City of Manteca.
Survivors: mother, Estella LaMar of Manteca; and sister, LaDonna Kunkle of Manteca.
Services: rosary, 7 p.m. today, P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road. Mass 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 525 E. North St.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton.
