The deceased was 35 years of age, having been born in Egg Harbor in 1883.
He was married June 9, 1908 and is survived by his wife and four children, the oldest nine and the baby is but a year of age. One of the children is afflicted with infantile paralysis and the family has been having more than its share of hard luck during the past few years.
The body arrived here from Detroit on Monday mornings train and the funeral was held immediately, Rev. Alph Broens being in charge of the services. A large number of Catholic Order of Foresters attended, the deceased having been a staunch member of that Order.
