On 15th of January in 1917 he married his love Marie Frances Gertrude Cameron, whom was from a Catholic Scottish family. The marriage took place at Saint Mary of the Annunciation Parish located on Norfolk Street, in Cambridge,Massachusetts,USA. The Priest who married them was named Dennis W Brown. By November of that same year their first child my grand father Colin Louis Raubeson was born. They would have 6 more boys and 1 daughter.
He worked many jobs and trades during his life time. One of his know nicknames was "Peter The Plumber".
His wife Marie passed away in the 1940's.* At which point he spent the remaining part of his years living in the New Haven,Connecticut area near two of his sons.

He not only changed his name, but also his year and place of birth, claiming Feb 8 1891 as his birthdate and Auxier, Kentucky as his birthplace on future records. On his death certificate, his son provides his correct birthdate of Feb 8, 1889 but states his birthplace as Lexington , KY.
