Retired Lawyer and Lecturer
Graveside Services for Abraham BROOKS, a retired lawyer and lecturer, will be held at 1:45 p.m. today in Sharon Memorial Park.
Mr. BROOKS died yesterday at his home in North Easton. He was 85.
Born in Fall River, he graduated from Durfee High School and from Boston University Law School in 1927. He moved to Easton in 1933 and opened a law practice there.
He also taught business law and insurance law courses at Northeastern University and Stonehill College and was a former president of the Temple Israel Brotherhood of Brockton.
Mr. BROOKS leaves his wife, Mae (Fox); two sons, David B. of Ottawa and Robert N. of Amherst; a brother, Robert of Hyannis; and two grandchildren.
