Mrs. Carroll Rites
Conducted Monday


Funeral services for Mrs. George S. Carroll were held at the Trinity Methodist church in Ruston at 10 a.m. Monday morning with the Rev. Jolly Harper officiating, assisted by the Rev. C.B. White, assistant pastor.

Burial followed in the Minden cemetery.

Mrs. Carroll was born in Minden and had lived here until after the death of her husband. She had just reached her 91st birthday.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Guy M. Hicks of Ruston with whom she has made her home for some time; one son, Commodore Penn L. Carroll of Monterey, Mexico; and one sister, Mrs. Athlene B. Tompkins of Fairfax, Va.
