She united with the Church of Christ about 12 years ago, under the preaching of Daniel SUMMERS. To know her was to love her; she was a cheerful kind-hearted and loving girl, stewing sunshine wherever she went. She was a sufferer of stomach trouble for the past three years and was confined to her bed for eleven weeks before her death. She bore her suffering with much patience and she said a short time before her death that the future was bright before her. She leaves four sisters, three brothers and a host of friends to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at the Church of Christ, at this place, Bro. Homer ADAMSON talking for a short time to the living of the Christian hope. The casket was surrounded by an immense crowd of sorrowing friends and neighbors who joined with the family to mourn their sad loss. Our sympathy goes out to the lonely ones who did al that loving hands could do to relieve her suffering but all to no avail. “She rest from her labors and her works do follow her. Be ye also ready.”
