Deceased was ailing the past year. She was born in Kutztown; later resided in Alsace and came to Reading 23 years ago, residing here ever since. Her husband died about 10 years ago. These children remain: D. Milton, Samuel P., John, Mrs. Lizzie Gaul, Mrs. Ellen Houp, besides 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Daniel, Jacob and Frederick Helfrich, and Mrs. Katie Weaver and Mrs. Elizabeth Barr, all of Reading. Deceased was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical church, and leaves many friends.
