Clarence Meriwether was born on February 1, 1886 in Tennessee, the son of Lanzy Bailey and Malenda Meriwether.
He was employed in a tire plant and was married when he died of cancer on April 6, 1954 in Montgomery County, Rural Route 1, out towards Guthrie, Kentucky. Burial was four days later in State Line Cemetery.
