Murder Victim:
On July 24, 2012, shortly after 10 p.m., firefighters and CHP officers went to an orchard in the area of Adams and Del Rey avenues in Del Rey (Fresno County, CA) after receiving a call about a vehicle fire. Fire crews put out the flames and found a body, identified in August as 19-year-old Renato Arevalo, of Del Rey, in the vehicle's trunk. The sheriff's office says he had been murdered.
Two suspects were booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of murder and arson. Detectives say this case is still under investigation and more arrests are possible.
