Mr. Daniel Lowe, age 72, of the Ditney Trail Community, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 07, 2014 at his home. He was born August 18, 1941 in the Smokey Creek Community, to the late Edridge Lowe and Cassie Gibson Lowe. He was a Member of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother: Marshall Lowe; Sisters: Viola Carroll and Deanna Sharp.
He was survived by his wife of 46 years, Pauline Duncan Lowe; (3) Sons: Gaylon Lowe and wife Melissa, Scottie Lowe and wife Katrina all of the Ditney Trail Community, Shaun Lee Lowe of Oneida, Tennessee; (4) Grandchildren: Joshua Trent Vanover, Chelsie, Cody and Grace Lowe; (2) Brothers: Andrew Lowe and wife Treva, Herman Lowe and wife Annette all from the Smokey Creek Community; (6) Sisters: Lola Lowe of the St. Fork Community, Rosetta Lowe of the Paint Rock Community, Anna Mae Hembree, Kathleen Lowe both of Huntsville, Tennessee, Mertie Ann Gibson and husband Dewayne of the St. Fork Community and Pansy Pemberton of Sunbright, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Monday Evening, March 10, 2014 at the Smokey Creek Baptist Church with no set closing time. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Smokey Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Dudley Harness and Bro. Paul Duncan Officiating. Music will be provided by the Massengale Family. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery in the Smokey Creek Community.
Pallbearers will be Charles Duncan, Paul Duncan, Sammy Duncan, Billy Williams, Dewayne Gibson and Ralph Mason.
