His survivors include his wife, Jeanette Buchanan of New Market; children, Bobby Buchanan of Huntsville, Patricia Tucker of New Market, Kenneth Buchanan of Huntsville, Michael Buchanan, Jeff Buchanan, Carl Buchanan, and Jerry Buchanan, all of Hazel Green; two brothers, A. J. Buchanan of New Market and Robert Buchanan of New Market; and ten grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gallant Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gallant with burial in Cochran Cemetery. Bro. Joe Durham is officiating.
