Obituary
Austin Lowe, a highly esteemed resident of Geneseo died Monday evening at the home on the Reservoir road, east of tbe village. Mr. Lowe who was past 88 years of age, was born in Geneseo and all of his life had been past in this vicinity. He had been in declining health for the past few years not complaining of any organic disease and death was due to infirmities incidental to old age. For many years he bad been a member of tbe Presbyterian church of this village. Be is survived by three sons and two daughters; Geo. Lowe of Fonda, Wm. E. Lowe of Livonia, Frank Lowe of New York, Mary and Julia Lowe who reside at home. Tbe funeral services will take place at home at 2 o'clock this afternoon and burial will be in Temple Hill cemetery. Rev. J. W. Searles will officiate at the services as Rev. Carlisle, pastor of the Presbyterian church is at Camp Dix.
