AUSTIN -- The funeral for Anna Margaret Sathre will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin with the Rev. Harold Usgaard officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
Mrs. Sathre, 82, of Brainerd, Minn., formerly of Austin, died Sunday (Oct. 11, 1998) at St. Joseph Medical Center in Brainerd.
Anna Margaret Paulson was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Hanska, Minn. On March 27, 1937, she married Ernest Sathre at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. Her husband died Feb. 1, 1994. Mrs. Sathre was a a former Hormel Foods Corp. employee.
Survivors include two daughters, Susanne Reimringer of Brainerd and Sara Lu (Mrs. Harland) Johnson of Longville, Minn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and two sisters, Agnes Armstrong of Austin and Minnie Stockstead of Sleepy Eye, Minn. She was preceded in death by a grandson, five sisters and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
