Albert died of Influenza while at the Cape for a weekend with friends. He left his son Albert John Allen parent-less, so Albert Jr. (age about 5 1/2) moved in with his Allen grandparents James and Anna and at age 18 was officially adopted by his Allen grandparents, hence, he became his own Uncle.
