In addition to the Cardinals he played for the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets, compiling a career record of five wins against thirteen loses and a career ERA of 5.03. After his playing days, Moford returned to his home in Bracken County, Kentucky, where he farmed and remained active in community affairs.
