She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth Karr, born July 7, 1945, in Keavy.
She was a clerical worker for 33 years with QWest Communications and a member of the Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband "Best Buddy" Don McLeod of St. Paul; three step-sons, Mike McLeod and wife Terry of Chesterfield, Minnesota, David McLeod of Blain, Minnesota, and Rodney McLeod and friend Carol of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; two step-daughters, Kathy Krech & husband Wally of South St. Paul and Carrie Lucas and husband Mark of South St. Paul; a brother, Kollen Karr and wife Jean of Keavy; two uncles, Dr. Leslie Karr and wife Clara of Corbin and Earl Karr and wife Jean of Corbin; three aunts, Polly Huckabee and husband Johnny of North Carolina, Martha Karr of Keavy and Lyda Spitler of Dayton, Ohio; a nephew, Joe Karr & wife Debbie of London; two grand-nieces, Casey and Molly Karr of London; 14 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, Jan. 12, at the Corbin Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Kollen Karr and Joe Karr officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday, Jan. 11, at Corbin Funeral Home.
