MRS. CLARA A. HENSHAW, aged 85, passed away at the home of MRS. NETTA PATTERSON, 55 Cutler st., SW., Tuesday, Dec. 25. Funeral services will be held from the Berton A. Spring chapel Friday at 3 p.m. Interment in Graceland cemetery, Chicago, the following day.

CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING TODAY.

MR. and MRS. H.S. HENSHAW of Chicago celebrate their golden wedding today at the home of Mr[s]. Henshaw's sister, MRS. R.J. STOWE, 100 Terrace avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Henshaw are former residents of Paris township and they have many relatives in this city and vicinity. The receiving hours were from 2 to 5 o'clock this afternoon and from 7 to 10 tonight. The rooms throughout the house were handsomely decorated with gold and yellow. The receiving party stood under a beautiful canopy of yellow chrysanthemums, Mr. and Mrs. Henshaw being seated in gold chairs. Receiving with them were MR. and MRS. R.J. STOWE, MR. and MRS. BURT PATTERSON, MR. and MRS. HEWITT PATTERSON, MISS LAURA PATTERSON, MR. and MRS. FRANK COOK and H.W. HENSHAW. The dining room was decorated in gold and white, yellow roses being used on the table which was lighted with yellow candles. Mrs. Frank Cook presided in the dining room, and was assisted by nieces of Mr. and Mrs. Henshaw, who are MRS. CLARA THOMPSON, MRS. MATTIE BROWN, MRS. LILLIAN FOSTER, MRS. SCOTT THOMPSON, MISS MARIE COOK, MISS LYDIA COOK and MRS. FRED COOK. Music during the receiving hours was furnished by Miss Edythe Realy, cellist and Miss Edith Shattuck, pianist. SCOTT THOMPSON was master of ceremonies. About one hundred invitations were issued.
