Ezequlel Hernandez

Ezequiel Hernandez, 84, of Eagle Lake, passed away Sunday, January 28, 1990 at 4:06 a.m. at the Eagle Lake Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Mexico on May 8,1905. In June of 1909, he moved to the United States with his family, later settling in Eagle Lake around 1932. For a short time he operated a grocery store from his home here, then later worked in the trucking business and was a member of, the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Eagle Lake. Survivors include his wife, Louisa Flores Hernandez, of Eagle Lake; Son, Johnny Joe Hernandez, of Burnet , Tx.; and numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 1990, from the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Jesse Euresti officiating. Interment followed in the Lakeside Cemetery, Eagle Lake. Pallbearers were Bennie Sosa, Rudy Lopez, Julian Sosa, Mario A'argas, Julian Perez and Guadalupe Hemandez. Arrangements were under the direction of Dulany Funeral Home in Eagle Lake. Sympathy is extended to the family in their loss.
