Services for Mrs. Etta Underwood, 93, Murphysboro, who died Friday, will be at 2 p. m. today in Mt. Carbon Christian Church in Murphysboro.

Rev. Jonah Walker and Rev. Hugh Stearns will officiate. Burial will be in Tower Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the Meyer - Denny Funeral home, Murphysboro.

Mrs. Underwood died at her home at 828 Maple St. at 8:45 a. m., after an illness of nine months.

She was born Oct. 1, 1871, in Carbondale, the daughter of Flvious and Anna Cooper. She was married to Frank Underwood, who died in 1944.

Mrs. Underwood was a charter member of the Mt. Carbon Christian Church.

She leaves daughters, Mrs. Clara McMillian, Mrs. Edith Doolin and Mrs. Lola Imhoff, all of Murphysboro; sons, Robert, Alva, William, Raymond and Kenneth, all of Murphysboro, and Ralph of Jefferson City, Mo.; …
