Mrs. Nell Hampe
Mrs. Nellie Hampe, 83, pioneer Puget sound area resident, died Monday evening at a Puyallup nursing home where she had resided for the past two years.
Mrs. Hampe, twin sister of the late C. F. Mason, Tacoma realtor who died April 6, 1953, formerly made her home in Tacoma and had been a resident of the state 50 years, coming from Missouri. She was a member of the Methodist Church and of Fern Chapter, OES, Tacoma.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Greer of Puyallup; three sons, Rex and Charles McDonald, both of Puyallup, and Lester McDonald of Plainfield, N.J.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held in the Mountain View Memorial Park, under the direction of Hill Funeral Home, Puyallup. The cortege will leave the funeral home at 1 p.m., Thursday. The Rev. Weymeth McGrew will officiate.
