She was member of Society of Friends.
She was grandmother of Jonathan Worth Ex. Gov. of N.C. Also of J.M. Worth Ex. Treas. of N.C. Great-great-grandmother of Ensign Worth Bagley of U.S. Navy who was killed in the war with Spain May 11th, 1898. Dr. Nereus Mendenhall her nephew was a leading scholar, educator and representative of N.C. and was a member of committee for the erection of the State Hospital at Morganton, N.C.
