Marjorie B. Schwab, age 86 of Dublin, formerly of Dunwoody, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Serenity Place following a brief illness. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 24th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home in Dublin. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA.
Mrs. Schwab graduated from Myers High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA and retired from the Internal Revenue Service. Mrs. Schwab was a charter member of Northwoods United Methodist Church in Doraville where she was also a member of the Friendship Sunday School class and the UMW. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" James Schwab, Jr.; parents, Frank F. and Emma Engler Becker; sister, Jeanne O'Brian and brother, Robert Becker.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Northwoods United Methodist Church, United Methodist Children's Home or a charity of your choice.
