Obituary from THE BUTLER HERALD, June 12, 1906:
Death of Mrs. Blair
After a long illness from bronchial trouble on the 28th day of May, Mrs. Robert Blair departed this life at her home here. The remains were tenderly laid to rest in the Potterville cemetery on Tuesday 29th. Mrs. Blair most patiently bore her sufferings the past few months which were very intense. All that loved ones with the aid of attentive physicians could do was done, but all to no avail. God saw fit in this great love to receive her spirit into that home which is eternal. Mrs. Blair was a consistent member of the Baptist church here and was much loved by all whose privilege it was to know her. She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Layfield of Howard.
She has left to realize most painfully the loss of her care and companionship - a devoted husband and several small children, besides many other loved ones.

(Cleavander probably died from the bronchial trouble and complications of childbirth. She had a child on April 27, 1906 that lived one day and she died about two weeks later.)
