"GREEN TWP. - William Howard Archer, 72, of 994 Killinger Rd., Clinton, died Oct. 4 at Akron City Hospital. He was born in Sandyville, W. Va., and had lived in Akron since 1929. He worked for 35 years as a tire builder at Firestone Tire & Rubber Company, and belonged Firestone Local No. 7. Mr. Archer is survived by wife, Rexie J.; sons, Robert of Louisville, Tex., Wendell of Gahanna; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m., at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 1446 S. Main St., Mr. William H. Feist officiating. Interment East Liberty Cemetery."
