Norma "Jackie" Harris, 73, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 after battling cancer. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Hardy, VA to the late Roscoe Cleveland and Ruth Spradlin Fisher. She is survived by her daughter Debra Harris and husband Rahsaan Pringle of Roanoke County; granddaughter Allison Clary and husband Stephen of Roanoke; grandson Aaron Boush and girlfriend Katie Howey of Roanoke; brother Bobby Fisher and wife Linda of Roanoke County; sister Marie Fisher of Roanoke; sister Julie Jackson of Rocky Mount; sister Brenda Penn and husband Harry of Roanoke; sister Cathy Clingenpeel and husband Jim of Roanoke; companion of 30 years Thomas Holland of Roanoke; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. The family is thankful that out of all the angels in Heaven, God gave Jackie to us! She will be remembered for her selflessness, strength, beauty and kind spirit. Her legacy lives on through her loved ones. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Todd Shell officiating.
