Aileen M. Adkins, 89, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died April 1, 2014 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on March 27, 1925, daughter of the late Elmer and Marie McGuire Logsdon.

Aileen was retired employee of Ohio Valley Medical Center.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge E. Adkins and a brother, Richard Logsdon.

Aileen is survived by her three children, Sandra (Carl) Emery of Cleveland, Ohio, Richard Adkins of Akron, Ohio and Linda (Jerry) Staskey of Yorkville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jeri Lynne (Bruce) Romanek of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Dana (Paul) Bendel of Germany; and three great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
