Sudden Death of A Recent Arrival
Coroner's Jury Decided That Acampo Woman's Death Was Natural
A sudden death in Acampo Friday caused Coroner Southworth to go to that place and hold an inquest over the remains of Katherine Walter, a native of Russia, aged 62 years.
The Coroner's jury decided that death was due to heart disease.
The remains were interred in Lodi cemetery Saturday afternoon from the Baptist church, near the Grove, under the church rites of the Seventh Day Adventists. F.O. Hale had charge of the remains.
Deceased was a recent arrival coming here from the Dakotas with her husband and children. They purchased the Calloway ranch at Acampo.
