British dancer. Studied in London with Karsavina and with the Rambart school. She joined their company and was to become their leading ballerina. She created roles in many ballets including 'Lady Into Fox' and 'Peter And The Wolf'. After she retired she returned to help revive some of the earlier works. She later appeared as Louise in 'Carousel' in the West End. Died in Sydney
