J.L. Eslick of Nashville formerly of Pulaski passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 in
Summit Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on February 26, 1924 in the Diana Community and was 891/2 years old.

He was an avid beef cattle dealer, worked at Cardin Distributing Company and Maremont Gabriel, and attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green Kentucky.

Mr. Eslick loved his family and special companion, Suzie Blake Eslick.

A graveside service at Thomas M. Brown Cemetery, Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Mr. Eslick was preceded in death by his parents, Edward (Gene) Eugene Eslick, Sr. and Sadie Colbert Eslick along with his brothers, Edward (Ed) Eugene Eslick, Jr., James Ralph Eslick, Joe Thomas Eslick, and Robert Kenneth Eslick.

He is survived by his:
Wife of 68 years, Margaret Wharton Eslick of Nashville
Son, John L. Eslick, Jr. of Nashville
Daughter, Deborah R. Eslick Hoppmann and husband Tim of Charleston, South Carolina
Brother, Merritt Eslick of Charlotte, North Carolina

Special cousin, Mary Jean Helton and several nieces also survive.
