Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Alcide Benoit, Jr., 69, who died at 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 in Crowley, LA.
Rev. ___________, Pastor of Bible Missionary Church in Crowley, La will conduct the services and the burial will follow in the Estherwood Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Alcide was born September 19, 1944 in Crowley, LA to the late Alcide, Sr. and Bertha Kibodeaux Benoit. He was an oilfield welder and retired from Weatherford after many years of service. He loved hunting and visiting his many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Brenda Benoit Of Egan, LA; his son Chris Benoit and his wife, Tracy of Addis, LA; his daughter Cathy Richard and her husband Robert of Lake Jackson, TX; four grandchildren, Madison, Benjamin, Joshua and Emily; his sister, Barbara Jackson and her husband Jimmy of Pinehurst, TX and nephews Kevin and Pat White.
