Mrs. Josephine B. Ressler, 57 yers of age, died at 10 o'clock this morning at the home of Dr. C. H. Starkel, 119 South Charles street. Mrs. Ressler had been living at the home of the physician for the last seventeen years. Death was due to a lingering illness.

She was born in Belleville, October 15, 1875, a daughter of the late William and Anna Bang(nee Maus). Her father formerly conducted the National Hotel on Public Square.

Surviving are a brother and sister:
August W. Bang, of Chicago
Mrs. Emma B. Stock, of Chicago

... a nephew, Homer W. Bang, of Chicago, and a niece, Miss Eleanor B. Stock, Chicago.

Private funeral services will be held from the home of Dr. Starkel at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon to the Missouri Crematory, 3211 Subtle avenue, St. Louis.

The ballbearers will be: Dr. John C. Gunn, David Baer, Otto W. Rubach, Arthur Spoeneman, Dr. Charles P. Renner, and Frank Smiley. Gundlach and Company will have charge of the funeral.
