Rose M. Olson, age 72, a former Two Rivers resident, died early Friday morning, Jan. 21, 2005 at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

Rose was born March 4, 1932 in Oxford County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Gauthier) Johnson. On Aug. 18, 1962, Rose married Robert D. Olson in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1986. Rose was employed at Fisher Hamilton for 26 years until her retirement. She was a former member of St. Mark Parish, a former Cub Scout leader and loved to play bingo.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Connie and Gary Gagner, Two Rivers; one son: James Olson, Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren: Jenny (Robert) Jacquart and their children: Kyle and Autum; B.J. (Michelle) Ruelle and son: Marvin; Jason Olson and daughter: Alley; Tanya (David) Sanders and children: Tehya and Seth; Shawn Olson and children: Gewndalyne and Keagan; Nicole Gagner and children: Daniel and Ashley; and Joe (Julia) Gagner and son: Trenton. Rose is further survived by other relatives and special friends: Terri and Butch Ruelle, Manitowoc; and Sally and Ed McGlin, Two Rivers. She was preceded in death by a brother: Erving; and a great-grandchild: Elizabeth Ruelle.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Beaudry. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with Capt. Trevor McClintock officiating.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the funeral home.

A special thank you to those at North Ridge, who gave many years of loving care to our Mom, grandma, great-grandma, Rose Olson. Thank you also to Dr. Thayer and Amy Schleunes.
