Christian Gebhart a retired farmer from the Mt Pleasant area of Adams County, died at his home in Bonneauville, Adams County, PA this morin at 12:30 oclock of complications of diseases, He had been ill for just six weeks. Mr Gebhart was a member of St Joseph Church of Bonneauville, and the Catholic beneficial society. And also a member of the Adams County Fireman's association. He was the son of the late Nicholas Gebhart and Theresa (Alwine) Gebhart from the Dover, York County area and originaly from Bavaria, Germany, five brothers, Jacob, Nicholas, George, Franciscus, and Martin, and three sisters, Mary, Catharine, and Theresa. Surviving are his widow, who was before marriage Miss Catharine A. Quinn, of Mt Carmel, near Philadelphia,(her parents were from Ireland)(Married to Catharine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1912) and three children from his first marriage, a daughter Miss Anna Gebhart of Hanover, Pa, and two sons, Harry and Peter Gebhart of near Bonneauville, Pa, a son William G Gebhart preceded his in death on Thursday June 27th 1935 in Lancaster, PA at 48 years old of an illness he had for 8 months. William was born November 1 1886. And Christain's first wife Juila (Wagaman) Gebhart preceded, him, Also surviving him is his late son William's wife Mrs Caroline (Young) Gebhart and their four children, William, Blanche, Caroline and Charles Gebhart;s from Lancaster, PA
