Elva Smith Presque Isle 74. Died 4-3-1983 at a local hospital. She was born in Presque Isle 9-28-1908 the daughter of Hall and Cora (Allen) Coffin. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, the Aroostook County Extension Service, W.C.T.U.. Ida M. Sanders Mission Circle, the Up and Coming Club and the Star City Senior Citizens. Besides her husband of Presque Isle, she is survived by 4 brothers, Elmer, Jasper, Artie and Ivan Coffin, all of Presque Isle, 2 sisters, Mrs. Vellora Coffey of Presque Isle and Mrs. Ivan (Clara) Sawyer of Mapleton. Spring interment Fairmount cemetery.
