Roy Smith Presque Isle 80. Died at a Presque Isle hospital 6-18-1985. He was born in Presque Isle 10-22-1904 the son of Milford and Temperance (Morehouse) Smith. He was retired from the United States Postal Dept., a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a member and president of the Star City Senior Citizens Group, past president of Presque Isle Barber Shoppers, former member of the Fish and Game Club and the Abnaki Club. He was a member of Trinity Lodge No.130 AF&AM, Garfield Chapter No.48, Royal Arch Masons of Caribou, St. Aldemar Commandry No.17 of Houlton, Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor, also a member of the Presque Isle Elks Club. He is survived by a brother, O.C. Smith of Presque Isle, 3 sisters, Lela Haines of Clovis, NM., Greta Blanchard of Rochester, NY. and Ethel Wheaton of Hollis, NY. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
