Services for Lela Haines, 84, of Clovis, will be held Sunday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at Sandia Baptist Church with the Rev. Wes McAfee and Dr. Thomas Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Texico Cemetery.

Steed-todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Haines died Wednesday, July 4, at Lubbock Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 21, 1906, in Presque Isle, Maine.

She was a retired telephone operator, an active member of Sandia Baptist Church and had lived in Clovis for the past 13 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Morgan of Portales; two sisters, Ethel Wheaton of New York City, and Greta Blanchard of Rochester, N.Y.; and two grandsons.

Casketbearers will be Bob Morgan, David Morgan, Kenneth Morgan, Berry Wilhoit, Coke Cates and Don Morgan.
